DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Field Technician II to provide exceptional IT support for CDC staff. In this role, you will deliver outstanding customer service and assist end-users. Responsibilities include taking incoming requests, logging calls in the ticketing system, and resolving technical issues promptly to meet SLAs in a high-volume setting. Applicants should have IT experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, with strong desktop support skills for both local and remote customers.
DUTIES
- Provide excellent customer service via phone, email and in-person.
- Handle inbound calls and work with end-users to understand problems.
- Log interactions within the ticketing system.
- Work across Windows 10/11 and MS Office 365 (Outlook) and solve issues with urgency.
- Meet high-volume SLA metrics.
- Provide remote support using Citrix.
- Troubleshoot issues in Windows 11 and Mac.
- Troubleshoot remote access issues and perform basic network administration tasks.
- Create new users and reset passwords in Active Directory.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
- Configure and support Mac desktops and laptops
- Resolve printer and peripheral issues.
- Work with remote desktop and VPN technologies, such as Zscaler.
ADDITIONAL
- CompTIA A+ Certification is nice to have
- 2+ years of IT support experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Occasional Travel between sites
- Maintain professional clothing, appearance, and conversation at all times

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $20.00/hr.
