Key Responsibilities- Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
- Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability and testability of new products.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, including assembly, test, and automation.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions and process flow diagrams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for NPI-related issues.
- Lead and participate in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) reviews.
- Manage and track NPI project timelines and deliverables.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the NPI process.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to interpret schematics, Gerber files, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and DFM principles.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, OrCAD).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and data analysis.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, Teamcenter).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, VBA).
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
