Your Purpose

The Sr. Data Reporting Analyst is a detail-oriented individual that will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and presenting financial information for Senior and Accounting Management. Responsible for interpreting and formulating reports to identify KPIs. Lead department in initiatives, projects and training. The Sr. Data Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Director of Accounting and Financial services to establish business needs and areas of opportunity. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of data analysis techniques and experience in data interpretation and automated financial reporting.

What You'll do
  • Principal Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing financial reports to Senior Management and Accounting Management to apprise them of our financial positions
  • Creating automated reports using data from multiple sources
  • Developing and implementing databases and data collection systems
  • Collecting and interpreting data from various sources
  • Analyzing and reporting results from data analyses
  • Cleansing, processing and interpreting data to develop reporting suites and dashboards
  • Ensuring data integrity through cleansing and validation to confirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Troubleshooting and remediating data and system irregularities
  • Designing and publishing automated reports using reporting tools such as PowerBI
  • Transforming raw item level data into understandable and actionable information
  • Staying up to date on the latest data analysis tools and techniques
  • Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities

What You Bring

Required
  • 5-7 years work experience as a Data Reporting Analyst, Business Data Analyst, or comparable postion
  • Advanced Excel Skills and technical expertise data mining and building data models
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with building automated reporting packages, databases and programming (SQL, XML, PowerBI)
  • Proficient running queries and presenting discoveries
  • BS in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or comparable degree

Preferred
  • Experience with Snowflake strongly preferred
