Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, manage, and oversee end-to-end release cycles across applications and environments.
• Define release scope, schedules, and deployment strategies; manage dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to ensure smooth release execution.
• Govern CI/CD pipelines and ensure release readiness, quality gates, and rollback strategies.
• Manage environment readiness, code freezes, version control, and release documentation.
• Monitor releases post-deployment, track incidents, and ensure quick resolution of issues.
• Ensure compliance with change management, security, and audit requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in release processes, automation, and DevOps maturity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in Release Management or DevOps.
• Strong understanding of release management processes, CI/CD pipelines, and version control.
• Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and deployment practices.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ITIL change/release management processes.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
• Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CSM, or SAFe.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
• Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
• Experience in release automation, environment management, and incident handling.
