Summary

The Data Reporting Analyst will be responsible for creating reports from the EOHHS Healthcare / Case Management / EHR applications that support the case management, clinical, and claiming business units for DDS. In this role, the Data Reporting Analyst will work alongside an existing team of EHS IT Business Analysts. This role will use the Advanced Report Writer in the department s new Case Management, Clinical, and Claiming system (WellSky). The Data Reporting Analyst will provide input on best practices and potential efficiencies, work on multiple assignments concurrently to meet aggressive due dates. The role will use a range of expert technical skills based on a keen knowledge of data and analytic concepts, and must be proficient with relational database query languages, SharePoint, and other Business Intelligence & Programming Tools. This resource needs to have hands on experience analyzing and interpreting complex data needs to develop solutions that improve decision making and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Create reports from report specification documentation using the Advanced Reporting Specification. Be able to crosswalk and document field and column names, location of data on screens within the DDS solution, security requirements

Ability to document report code in a complete and organized fashion. Perform Unit Testing to validate the report

Ability to understand and implement report requirements and work directly with business users to elicit clarifications

Ability to understand required report and data security (i.e. user-level, supervisor-level, etc) and represent security accurately in reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to query relational databases

Hands-on experience effectively using MS Office tools

Methodical and able to follow documented procedures and instructions

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-orientated, collaborative, and ever-changing technical environment

Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate with diverse user groups and provide support to both technical and non-technical audiences

Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and manage competing demands

Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality

Prior Government or Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required
