Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Byron Center seeking NPI Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with R&D and manufacturing teams to optimize product designs for manufacturability.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new products.
• Conduct process validation and qualification activities to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing issues during NPI phase.
• Define and document manufacturing process flows, work instructions, and quality control plans.
• Support pilot production runs and ramp-up activities to achieve production targets.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes and test methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD) and PLM systems (e.g., Arena, Agile).
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and data analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage projects effectively.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
• Background in a specific manufacturing process (e.g., semiconductor, automotive, aerospace).
