Job Title: Senior Symplr Time & Attendance Application Analyst

Position Overview:

The Senior Symplr Time & Attendance Application Analyst is responsible for conducting moderate to complex system analysis within assigned functional areas. This role includes monitoring system resources, evaluating business processes, and presenting historical data trends to ensure optimal departmental effectiveness. The analyst will serve as a key technical resource for configuration, support, and optimization of the Symplr Time & Attendance and Staff Scheduling platform.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform moderate to complex system and operational analysis to improve departmental efficiency.

  • Monitor application performance and system resources to ensure stability and reliability.

  • Evaluate workflows and recommend process improvements across Time & Attendance and Scheduling functions.

  • Present historical reporting and trend analysis to leadership and stakeholders.

  • Perform application configurations and provide end-user support for Time & Attendance and Staff Scheduling modules.

  • Support non-Symplr applications as needed.

  • Troubleshoot system issues and collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve technical problems.

  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, workflows, and updates.

  • Ensure integration integrity between Symplr and Payroll systems.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Symplr Pay Policies and Rules Engine

  • Strong experience with Symplr Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Absence, and Staffing environments

  • Proficient in application and technical support of the Symplr Time & Attendance/Staff Scheduling system

  • Knowledge of Symplr integrations with Payroll systems

  • Experience writing and supporting SQL queries

  • Working knowledge of SSIS packages

  • Ability to support multiple enterprise applications in a complex environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience participating in migrations from Symplr to Oracle Time & Labor

  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
