Job Description:

We are looking for a very strong Business/IT Program Manager. Position reports into the Business Transformation Team or IT PMO.

There are 2 projects likely to be assigned:

1. QBE launched a new business for Environmental insurance. Project is to configure our policy admin system (Majesco) to enable booking of policies as well as any development needed for reporting and financials. Effort may also include configuration of our UW Workbench to minimize manual efforts for the underwriters. This is expected to be ~50% of PM time.

2. There are currently two options for the other project, both related to our policy admin system:

a. Project 1: Various enhancements needed in our policy admin system to support several

insurance products

OR

b. Project 2: Enhancements needed in our policy admin and/or other systems to specifically

support our new Commercial Property business

Day In The Life of Contractor

This is a Business/IT Program Manager position. The person needs to drive

delivery of key initiatives supporting our business. This involves working with business/IT and potentially outside vendors to perform all aspects of a Program Manager role, e.g.:

develop a project plan drive the team towards those milestones track issues/risks/dependencies develop budgets and track forecasts develop and deliver team and senior stakeholder communication

Technical Skills and Experience

What are the top 3 - 5 must have technical skills?

Proven experience delivering complex initiatives

Proven experience with Agile/Agile Methodologies and delivering projects leveraging this

framework

Extremely proficient with MS Office Apps - MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word Very good financial skills, i.e., creating budgets, forecasts, cost-benefit analyses, etc. Proven experience working with vendors Insurance experience required Soft Skills and Team Fit
