Data Center Construction ManagerRole OverviewWe are seeking an
experienced, hands-on Data Center Construction Manager to support a
large-scale, mission-critical data center build in
Temple, TX. This role serves as the
on-site Owner's Representative, responsible for
field execution, contractor oversight, MEP and telecom coordination, and schedule adherence. The position is execution-focused and requires deep familiarity with
data center construction sequencing and critical infrastructure systems. This role does
not carry design authority or program-level responsibility.

Top Required Skills & Experience- Data center or mission-critical construction execution
- Owner's Rep -side contractor management experience
- Strong working knowledge of MEP and telecommunications systems
- Proven ability to drive schedule, milestones, and field coordination
- Confident site leadership and clear communication skills
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the on-site Sr. Project Manager overseeing construction execution
- Manage daily field activities and coordinate multiple trades and contractors
- Drive construction progress against schedule and critical path milestones
- Lead site walks, trade coordination meetings, and short-interval planning
- Coordinate installation and sequencing of critical systems, including:
- Electrical power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators
- Mechanical and cooling infrastructure (chilled water / HVAC)
- Fire protection and life safety systems
- Telecommunications and structured cabling
- Identify and resolve field conflicts impacting schedule, quality, or safety
- Monitor construction quality, safety compliance, and scope execution
Technical Qualifications- 7-15 years of construction management experience, with significant field execution responsibility
- Hands-on experience delivering data center or critical facilities projects
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, schedules, and contractor scopes
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Location & Work Environment- Location: Temple, TX
- Work Type: 100% on-site
- Schedule: 40 hours per week; no routine overtime

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Temple, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $90.00/hr.
