*** REQUIREMENTS ***
- Secret Clearance (Eligible)
- Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years in Civil Engineering and the equivalent relevant experience in datacenter or mission critical facilities design.
- Experience managing hardware configuration baselines
- Experience with Data Center Strategy, Planning, and Roadmap maintenance
- Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards
Job Description
- Look at existing infrastructure and these spaces where they need to grow and add systems or approve all of the supporting devices that are there and provide recommendations for that
- Some wrongs that may need to be corrected, how things are being done currently so they can set the better stage for the new building
- logistic coordination, meeting with stakeholders to understand their requirements on the milcon side. What is required to support all the stakeholders
- Align data with the requirements that are being supported by different deliverables already in the works and identifying any gaps (IE someone forgot to tell them a specific rack size). Ex: old legacy systems moving into the building that they initially didn't think were so they needed to update/alter the vault sizes
- Lead and assist with all design aspects of the CCC data center support systems, to include AC/DC power, UPS, HVAC, carrier infrastructures, internal/external cable plant, and overall data center layout.
- Produce architectural artifacts to include system design diagrams, recommendation justifications, and technical specifications.
- Communicate conceptual designs and create/maintain project documentation before, during, and after construction.
- Create and review civil/structural/architectural design RFPs.
- Conduct site assessments, internal design meetings, construction reviews.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the processes and standards that govern data center activities
- Coordinate and control access and logistic support
- Follow Datacenters procedures and processes
- Manage and coordinate the installation and maintenance of date center equipment
- Ensure compliance with data center security protocols
