Summary

Our East Coast healthcare client is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Application Specialist to support and optimize Supply Chain system applications. This role plays a key part in maintaining system performance, supporting end users, and driving process improvements across the Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.

Mostly Remote with Occasional Travel

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations of Supply Chain system applications, ensuring optimal performance and user access
  • Manage system security, user roles, and access controls within PeopleSoft and related applications
  • Lead system integrations, upgrades, and enhancements, including testing, implementation, and post-go-live support
  • Provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems as needed
  • Develop and deliver training, user documentation, and best practices for Supply Chain systems
  • Build and run queries to extract data, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights for decision-making
  • Maintain product and vendor databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support projects, drive adoption, and implement system enhancements
  • Contribute to policy and procedure improvements and communicate updates to stakeholders

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience supporting or working with enterprise applications (PeopleSoft strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft SCM / ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process
  • Advanced data analysis skills, including query building and data interpretation
  • Experience with relational databases and data structures
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
  • Experience developing and tracking KPIs to drive process improvements
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders
