Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to oversee and guide projects from initial analysis to implementation, ensuring alignment with business goals. This role involves managing timelines, budgets, and resources while delivering high-quality outcomes. Located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this is a Long-term Contract position offering an opportunity to drive cross-functional collaboration and organizational success.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage projects from the analysis phase through implementation, ensuring objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
Assemble and coordinate project teams, assigning tasks and identifying resource needs for successful completion.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules while monitoring deadlines and milestones.
Oversee project scope and escalate changes or risks as necessary to maintain quality and deliverables.
Facilitate regular team meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders, including managers and users.
Establish an efficient project structure that optimizes costs and productivity.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and resolving challenges.
Utilize project management methodologies and tools, including Agile and Jira, to ensure project success.
Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent training and experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, including cross-functional team leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Jira.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience in facilitating meetings and negotiations.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and project resources simultaneously.
PMP certification and familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology preferred.
Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
Skilled in analysis, problem-solving, and delivering process improvements.
