Service Technician - Enterprise Security Systems

Position Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate-Level Service Technician with hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, programming, and testing enterprise security systems. This role requires strong technical expertise across access control, IP video, intrusion systems, and visitor management solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both onsite and remotely, and is confident in customer-facing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot, program, and test enterprise-level security systems
• Diagnose and resolve issues with networked IP video systems and access control platforms
• Service commercial alarm and IoT-based security systems
• Perform work onsite or via remote system access depending on task requirements
• Interact professionally with customers and clearly communicate technical information
• Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts

Technical Knowledge & Systems Experience

Experience or proficiency in one or more of the following systems is preferred:

Skills & Qualifications

• Installation and servicing of security systems
• CCTV and IP camera systems
• Access control systems
• Alarm and intrusion systems
• Electrical fundamentals related to low-voltage systems
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and manage service tasks efficiently

Certifications & Training

• Current certification or demonstrated proficiency in any of the systems listed above is a plus
• Employer-supported training and certification opportunities are available for the right candidate

Experience Level

• Intermediate level experience required

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
