Systems Integrator to support the development, integration, verification, and deployment of mission-critical ground software systems for advanced space and intelligence programs. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software, hardware, and operational capabilities that support complex mission objectives.
You will play a key role in system verification, troubleshooting, automation, and end-to-end validation of ground systems, helping deliver reliable and scalable solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment.
What You'll Do - Lead site hardware deployment, integration, system checkout, and verification activities through program completion.
- Support integration and verification of ground software systems, including Command & Control (C2) and Mission Management capabilities.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts and verification procedures.
- Analyze system architectures to understand component interactions and identify integration points across subsystems.
- Troubleshoot integration and software issues through log analysis, debugging tools, and root-cause investigations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and test teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Document test results, defects, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of integration, verification, and test automation processes.
- Support Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery cycles.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with ground software system integration, verification, and validation.
- Strong understanding of Command & Control (C2) and Mission Management systems.
- Experience planning, executing, and documenting system integration and test activities.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, verification tools, and debugging techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex system interactions.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or MATLAB.
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, Magic Draw, or equivalent modelling platforms.
- Familiarity with collaboration and lifecycle management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or Git-based repositories.
- Experience using Systems Tool Kit (STK) or similar mission simulation and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with behaviour-driven development (BDD) frameworks such as Gherkin or Cucumber.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and services, particularly AWS.
- Understanding of software configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
