Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented EDI Project Coordinator to serve as the vital link between our external business partners and our internal technical development team. In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) implementations, ensuring that data flows seamlessly and accurately between systems. You will balance basic project management duties with hands-on technical testing to guarantee high-quality integrations.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for business partners during onboarding and integration projects; define requirements, timelines, and milestones.
- Technical Liaison: Translate business needs into technical specifications for developers and explain technical constraints back to non-technical stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Lead the end-to-end testing process, including connectivity testing, data mapping validation, and troubleshooting failed transmissions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of EDI specifications, partner profiles, and workflow diagrams.
- Issue Resolution: Monitor production EDI flows and coordinate with developers to resolve any syntax errors or transmission failures promptly.
qualifications:
Project Management: Ability to track multiple moving parts, meet deadlines, and keep stakeholders informed without needing a full PMO infrastructure.
Moderate Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and transmission protocols (AS2, SFTP, FTP). Basic understanding of XML or JSON is a plus. Knowledge of EDI segments of the EDI 810,850,856 documents
Exceptional Attention to Detail: A "eagle eye" for data discrepancies; you should enjoy catching the small errors that others might overlook.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to bridge the gap between "business speak" and "dev speak."
Analytical Thinking: Ability to look at a data error and logically trace it back to the source-whether it's a mapping logic issue or a partner formatting error.
