Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client located in Beaverton, OR who is looking for a Product Test Engineer 3 to join their Global Apparel Product Testing Team. This role ensures that the product fits and performs up to the highest standards and enables interconnected, data-informed decision. This role blends expertise of consumer product testing with the expertise of strategic data implementation to drive confident, impactful and predictive insights. A successful Product Testing Lead will need to have deep product testing experience, strong analytical capabilities, a strategic mindset, proven influencing skills. In addition, we are looking for formal mentoring experience, exceptional communication, demonstrated initiative in identifying areas of opportunity and implementing solutions with teammates and Leadership Teams,

Responsibilities:
* Work with product creation partners to test apparel and accessories
* Ensuring that they perform and meet the expectations of our consumer athletes across the globe
* Leading, or providing guidance to, multiple stages of the testing process, including test planning, recruiting testers, executing tests, analyzing data, capturing athlete insights, writing reports, and delivering presentations across multiple apparel dimensions and company stakeholders
* Reporting to the Senior Manager of Apparel Product Testing within the Global Apparel Standards team
* Partner with our Apparel Risk Engineering and Development teams to wear test against various apparel and accessories items and continue to establish new standards, processes and training content
* Provide technical input and support to the Technical Design, Development, Materials, Apparel Lab and Product Management communities. Additionally, you will support external relationships with vendors and partners

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a science or apparel related field
* Minimum 5 years of directly relevant work experience
* Subject matter expertise in consumer product testing methodologies (clothing, equipment, accessories, food, beverage, etc.)
* Competent in qualitative and quantitative test design, data collection, and analysis
* Knowledge of psychometrics, sensory-perception, behavioral sciences or motor learning and control is a plus
* Experience with data management, structuring and integration across enterprise systems.
* Understanding of predictive modeling, AI, or machine learning applications for product testing insights
* Familiarity in Microsoft Office, Airtable, Qualtrics, Tableau, Python, and PLM integration is optional, but valuable
* Passion for and knowledge of, team and individual sports is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
