Job Description
We are seeking a Systems Reliability Team Manager to lead platform reliability, production support, and delivery coordination for enterprise HR platform initiatives. This leadership role combines product management, SDLC oversight, and platform reliability management to ensure stable, high-performing HR systems that support critical business operations.
The manager will lead a team responsible for production incident management, system defect troubleshooting, and platform performance monitoring, while coordinating priorities between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for HR platform reliability, production support, and system stability
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and priorities for technology teams
  • Define and manage the platform reliability roadmap and system improvement initiatives
  • Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and defect resolution
  • Establish and monitor system availability, performance metrics, and operational KPIs
  • Ensure adherence to change management, release management, and incident management processes
  • Manage vendor relationships supporting enterprise HR platforms
  • Coordinate delivery across product, engineering, operations, and quality teams
Required Skills
  • Experience managing enterprise application reliability or production support teams
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise platform delivery
  • Experience with incident management, problem management, and operational governance
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technology delivery priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-team coordination skills
Technical / Operational Knowledge
  • Understanding of enterprise platform architecture concepts (APIs, messaging systems, databases, environments)
  • Experience with system monitoring and observability tools (logs, metrics, alerting)
  • Knowledge of change management, configuration management, and release processes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Understanding of security practices and vulnerability remediation
  • Ability to maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base materials
  • Experience supporting HR, payroll, retirement, or benefits systems
  • Experience with enterprise HR platforms such as PeopleSoft or similar systems
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments
