Genesis10 is currently seeking a Release Coordination Delivery Lead for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Richmond, VA, Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The Release Coordination Delivery Lead is responsible for governing, planning, coordinating, and executing technology releases across multiple delivery teams to ensure changes are implemented safely, predictably, and in compliance with Enterprise Change Management standards. This role serves as the primary point of coordination for release events, providing end-to-end visibility into release health, risk, readiness, and execution while protecting production stability. The role acts as a liaison between technology, infrastructure, operations, and business stakeholders, driving cross-functional collaboration and managing dependencies.
Responsibilities: - Orchestrate and track release events
- Ensure adherence with the Enterprise Change Management and Data Management standards
- Develop, finetune and maintain release and change dashboards
- Review daily planned and requested changes across the organization
- Manage coordination of delivery and dependencies across multiple teams
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion and timeline
- Provide status updates for the deliverables to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to delivery, risks, issues, and schedule
- Support resource planning for delivery and execution
- Facilitate release readiness reviews and verify completion of testing, approvals, implementation plans, communication plans, and rollback procedures
- Develop, enhance, and maintain release, deployment, and change management dashboards to provide actionable operational insights and support executive reporting
- Coach and Coordinate post-implementation reviews, lessons learned, and continuous improvement activities to improve release quality and operational effectiveness
Requirements: - 3+ Years of experience working as a Delivery Lead in a Change and Release Support role
- Ability to evaluate release readiness, operational risk, system dependencies, rollback strategies, and implementation impacts before execution
- Experience escalating release conflicts, critical risks, and production stability concerns to leadership
- Background in Release and Change Management with hands on experience with Remedy or ServiceNow
- Background in Work Management with Jira or Azure DevOps experience
- Background in Documentation with Confluence or SharePoint
- Background in Reporting supporting Tableau, Starburst or MS Excel
- Background in Delivery & Deployment supporting CI/CD Toolchains - GitHub (Actions/Harness), Ansible Tower or Cutover
- Strong operational focus in change governance, dependency management, deployment coordination, and risk management
Desired skills: - 2 to 3 years of experience in a large, complex enterprise environment
- 2 to 3 years of Change and Release management experience
- Experience with Release Planning, Release Readiness, and Deployment Coordination
- Knowledge of Change Governance, Dependency Management, and Environment Management
- Leadership skills including cross-team coordination, conflict resolution, and executive communication
- Analytical skills in Root Cause Analysis, KPI Development, and Trend Analysis
Pay range: $63.94 - $71.94 per hour
