Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Product Owner - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The Technical Product Owner will analyze and translate business needs into technical solutions for the Digital Channels space. Acting as an ambassador for change, you will become a subject matter expert, maintain relationships with product management, and drive technology development. You will be responsible for eliciting requirements, creating documentation, and ensuring the successful implementation of assigned projects.
Responsibilities: - Analyze and translate business needs for enhancements to existing products or new offerings
- Elicit and document business and functional requirements
- Write and groom business enablement, technology enablement, and tech debt Epics, MBIs, and stories
- Generate process/data flow diagrams and create user guides
- Analyze the impact of proposed solutions across the business
- Develop use cases to demonstrate business requirements to the technology team
- Act as a liaison across business units, development staff, management, and end-users
Requirements: - Minimum of 5-10 years' experience working in Agile methodology, preferably in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role
- Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both technology and business partners
- Experience creating user journeys, user stories, wireframes, mockups, and diagrams
- Experience using Agile tools like Jira or Rally
- Understanding of business process redesign and improvement techniques
- Understanding of technical solutions and components (APIs, Middleware, Services, SQL)
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and presentation skills
- Prior experience in an IT or management consulting environment with a focus on business analysis within financial services
- Certification in Agile Scrum such as CSPO, CSM, or Certified Product Owner
Desired skills: - Working closely with product partners to on-board new functional requirements
- Documenting designs and improving developer tooling and standards
- Participating in code reviews and daily SCRUM
Pay range: $74.51 - $82.51 per hour
