Genesis10 is currently seeking an Appian UI Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is for an Appian UI Developer who will be responsible for software development, integration, customization, and support. Working within an agile team, the individual will focus on new development, collaborating closely with analysts and business partners to understand requirements and deliver effective Appian solutions within the context of a larger application.
Responsibilities: - Take requirements and break them into work units to deliver an Appian solution
- Perform hands-on development on Appian BPM applications, including SAIL code
- Leverage Appian technical documentation and the Appian user community to build new prototypes as required
- Code, configure, debug, unit test, integration test, and document application enhancements
- Support the development of user guides for new projects and enhancements
- Analyze, debug, and revise existing application logic and update documentation as necessary
- Assist database developers, quality assurance team, and business analysts to ensure data integrity, consistency, and security
- Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and best practices in application development, following an Agile SDLC approach
Requirements: - At least 5 years of Appian UI hands-on experience in development, configuration, debugging, unit testing, and documentation
- Experience on one or more end-to-end Appian BPM or UI implementations (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package)
- Good understanding of Appian Objects such as Records, Sites, Actions, Security, Expression Rules, Constants, Query Rules, Web API, Interface Rules, CDTs, and Process Models
- Expertise in designing and implementing BPM solutions for process simplification, case management, and role-based applications
- Experience in design and development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Forums, SAIL, Smart Services, and Reports
- Experience with database design and SQL
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis on production issues
- Ability to work independently on assignments based on specific requirements
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with various teams
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
