Description: Our client is currently seeking a Construction Engineer - MDU in Houston, TX
This job will have the following responsibilities: Manage construction activities related to the development of multiple, simultaneous Network infrastructure projects. Specifically, these projects will involve feasibility surveying and oversight of 5G Home Ready (5GHR) infrastructure in Multi-dwelling units (MDU's).
Provide financial management of projects from initial proposal/bid through receipt of final product or service including adherence to specific contracted price points.
Daily activities include
- schedule and financial management as well as interfacing with vendors via calls and meetings. - Property owner and/or management collaboration is a must here to maintain working relationships at MDU's.
- Assisting with troubleshooting during integration activities is also required.
Must have attention to detail, sense of urgency and wireless network in-building construction experience as well as technical aptitude with computers to navigate tools.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important): Minimum 5-7 years of MDU/MTU construction and deployment experience, including hands-on field work.
Demonstrated success in managing vendors, contracts, and fiscal targets.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
Ability to be innovative and develop solutions to challenges using critical thinking capabilities.
