SAP BTP Track Lead

Experience: 10+ years
SAP CPI integration experience is mandatory
Client is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Track Lead with strong hands-on expertise in ABAP on HANA, S/4HANA, Fiori, and SAP Integration Suite/CPI. The selected candidate will own the technical architecture and delivery of SAP developments across RICEFW, custom Fiori applications, BTP extensions, and enterprise integration scenarios.
Key responsibilities:
Own end-to-end technical architecture, design, and delivery across S/4HANA and SAP BTP
Lead client workshops and produce HLDs, LLDs, and detailed technical-design documents
Develop HANA-optimized ABAP using CDS Views, AMDP, RAP, and OData services
Lead custom Fiori development using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and the Flexible Programming Model
Manage Fiori Launchpad design, configuration, security, deployment, and authorizations
Design BTP side-by-side and in-app extensions using CAP
Build integrations using SAP Integration Suite/CPI, API Management, and Event Mesh
Work with BTP Destination Service, Connectivity Service, XSUAA, and Business Application Studio
Define development standards, clean-core principles, and SAP-recommended extensibility approaches
Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, performance tuning, and quality assessments
Lead and mentor ABAP, Fiori, and BTP developers across offshore teams
Govern CI/CD, abapGit, Transport Management Service, Cloud ALM, and Solution Manager
Serve as the technical-design authority and resolve cross-team escalations
Mandatory qualifications:
10+ years of SAP technical experience
Strong hands-on SAP CPI integration experience
4+ years of ABAP on HANA experience
At least two end-to-end S/4HANA implementations as a Technical Lead
CDS Views, annotations, associations, table functions, and extensions
AMDP, code pushdown, and HANA performance optimization
RAP managed and unmanaged scenarios, draft handling, and business objects
SAP Gateway and OData V2/V4 development
SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, Smart Controls, and Flexible Programming Model
Fiori Launchpad configuration, deployment, and security
Client-facing workshop and architecture-presentation experience
Knowledge of at least one S/4HANA functional area: FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP
Experience with ABAP Cloud/Steampunk, Joule, and SAP AI Foundation is highly desirable.
