Role Overview
This Systems Analyst role supports critical supply chain functions, including procurement, warehouse, and inventory management. The position will contribute significantly to a divestiture data-migration effort and ongoing Master Data Governance (MDG) enhancements. The role demands hands-on SAP MM configuration expertise, strong data quality experience, and the ability to work independently in both project and operational support settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and migration for a divestiture project.
- Perform hands-on configuration and provide daily support for SAP MM, including procurement, logistics, and inventory.
- Support, enhance, and improve SAP MDG workflows, validation rules, and reports.
- Participate in production support, daily issue resolution, and system enhancements.
- Validate data quality and ensure accurate transformation into required formats.
- Collaborate with functional analysts and developers while operating independently on assigned tasks.
- Create functional and technical specifications for development work.
- Set up and monitor batch jobs, and troubleshoot any failures.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 5-7 years of hands-on SAP MM configuration experience, including daily system work and production support.
- Demonstrated experience in data extraction, cleansing, mapping, migration, and reconciliation.
- Experience with mass data loads and troubleshooting complex SAP issues.
- Background in procurement and logistics operations, including Material Planning and MRP procedures.
- Experience working directly with business users and resolving issues independently.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in SAP MM configuration (Plants, Storage Locations, Procurement, Inventory Management).
- Experience with data extraction, cleansing, and migration tools.
- Knowledge of IDOC/EDI mapping and troubleshooting (MATMAS, CLFMAS).
Education:- A bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with SAP MDG, including approval flows, UI customization, and data consolidation.
- Familiarity with Fiori applications in Master Data Governance.
- Ability to proactively engage in broader team needs beyond assigned tasks.
