Role Overview
We are seeking a qualified Cybersecurity Manager to serve as the Chief Cyber Security Engineer. This individual will act as the technical authority for securing all aspects of the network architecture. The position involves designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions to protect sensitive data, defending against threats, and ensuring the integrity and availability of the network infrastructure. This is a hybrid role with flexibility for on-site work and requires the ability to access a cleared environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority and strategist for ensuring compliance and security of the network architecture.
- Design and implement robust, scalable, and compliant cybersecurity solutions.
- Integrate advanced security technologies into the network design.
- Establish and enforce policies for access control and data protection.
- Oversee compliance with DoD, NIST, and other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align security objectives with project goals.
- Mentor cybersecurity team members and provide oversight of security testing, monitoring, and incident response.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience: A Master's Degree in Cyber Security, Cyber Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 10+ years of experience is required.
Clearance: Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance as a condition or continuation of employment.
Skills: Demonstrated leadership in design and deployment projects and the ability to foster collaboration across technical teams are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Air Force experience that includes technical capability experience.
- Experience with carrier-class networks, cloud infrastructure/operations, and cross-domain solutions.
- Network and/or Security Operations Center (SOC) experience.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CySA+, CISM, and/or CASP+.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $50.00 to $78.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and experience.
