Agile Scrum Master

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Role Overview

We are seeking an Agile Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams and drive delivery excellence. This role is central to facilitating team alignment, maintaining workflow, and fostering continuous improvement within our enterprise technology environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily team alignment through stand-ups, ensuring progress, risks, and blockers are clearly surfaced.
  • Maintain delivery flow using Scrum or Kanban practices, including monitoring WIP limits and cycle time.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to ensure a clear, prioritized, and groomed backlog.
  • Remove impediments by coordinating with cross-functional teams, leadership, and support groups.
  • Coach teams on Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban) to improve delivery predictability and efficiency.
  • Maintain transparency through clean boards, dashboards, and proactive stakeholder communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, observations, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise with JIRA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Knowledge of JIRA Horizon and familiarity with JIRA Align.
  • Experience supporting multiple teams.
  • Experience with PI Planning.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay rate for this position is between $70.00 and $73.94 per hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
