The Scrum Master is responsible for driving disciplined Agile execution with a strong emphasis on SDLC rigor and release management. This role requires a deep understanding of end-to-end software delivery, release orchestration, and operational readiness within enterprise financial systems. This position supports technology outcomes aligned to Enterprise Risk, Audit, and Finance, with direct support for platforms that manage critical finance, investment, and risk functions in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring consistent execution and delivery of committed sprint goals.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies that drive decisions, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Apply strong working knowledge of the full SDLC, from intake and planning through build, test, release, and post-production support.
- Manage and coordinate release planning, timelines, dependencies, risks, and cutovers across multiple teams.
- Ensure operational readiness for releases, including non-functional requirements (NFRs), monitoring, and operational documentation.
- Maintain strong Jira hygiene for work capture, status reporting, dependency tracking, and capacity planning.
- Produce dashboards and reports that provide transparency into delivery health, forecasting, and financial accuracy.
- Build strong partnerships with Product, Engineering, and other technology stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of Scrum or Agile experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. A strong SDLC and release management background within enterprise technology environments is necessary, including experience managing releases in regulated or risk-sensitive environments.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with Jira for Agile delivery management, reporting, and forecasting. CSM or PSM certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Controllers, Treasury, Finance, Risk, or Audit technology platforms.
- Background in banking or financial services technology environments.
- Experience working with investment management or finance platforms.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $63.00 per hour. Benefits may be available to eligible employees.
