Role Overview
This is a high-visibility role for a senior professional focused on Agile leadership, Jira expertise, and executive reporting. The position requires a trusted delivery leader who can manage projects, drive continuous improvement, and translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership. This role offers the opportunity to shape Jira strategy, influence how teams work, and make a measurable impact across multiple initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Owners and delivery teams to ensure backlog readiness and prioritization.
- Actively remove impediments, manage risks, and resolve dependencies across teams.
- Manage delivery timelines, milestones, and dependencies for multiple initiatives.
- Serve as a Jira subject matter expert, designing and optimizing boards, workflows, and dashboards.
- Define standards for Jira usage, including story structure, estimation, and reporting consistency.
- Design and deliver executive-level reporting that communicates progress, risks, and trends.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Jira, Excel, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or a similar role in hybrid Agile environments.
Technical Skills: Expert-level experience with Jira, including configuration, dashboards, workflows, and reporting. Strong experience creating metrics and visualizations using tools like Excel or Tableau.
Professional Skills: Demonstrated ability to create and present executive-level reports. Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to influence teams, drive adoption of best practices, and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
- Experience working in large or complex enterprise environments.
- Experience supporting multiple teams or cross-functional programs.
- Background in process improvement, delivery transformation, or Agile coaching.
