Job Overview

Value technology Inc  seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Tech Lead / Developer with strong expertise in Gosu programming, Guidewire configuration, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain and will provide technical leadership to development teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter including configuration, integration, and custom development.
  • Customize PolicyCenter using Gosu Programming Language, Guidewire Studio, and related tools.
  • Develop and support SOAP/REST API integrations with external systems.
  • Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance to development teams.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to developers.
  • Manage scope, estimate work effort, create project plans, and track progress.
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and business teams to understand requirements.
  • Work closely with onsite and offshore teams to deliver solutions effectively.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Proficiency in Gosu Programming Language
  • Experience with Guidewire Studio
  • Expertise in Integration development (SOAP/REST APIs)
  • Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Domain
  • Experience in PolicyCenter configuration and integration
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Certifications (Required)

  • Guidewire Associate Certification (Required)
  • Guidewire Specialist / Professional / ACE Certification (Preferred)

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
