Job Title: QA/Release Manager IV

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite)

Pay Range: $67-$76 per hour

Length: 6 months

Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the integration and flow of development, testing, and deployment activities across systems, as well as planning and executing releases that include new features and enhancements. The Release Management team works closely with Agile delivery teams and program stakeholders to coordinate release plans and deployments.

The position involves supporting deployments, monitoring and resolving issues, and ensuring effective management and availability of environments. This role serves as a key liaison between Quality Assurance, Production Support, Development, Agile teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to assess future environment needs and develop comprehensive release plans. The role also ensures that release management standards and controls are consistently followed to support successful and stable releases.
Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and help drive the strategy for the Release and Environment Management function
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute application and infrastructure releases across multiple environments
  • Ensure consistency, stability, and availability of environments in support of the existing delivery roadmap
  • Develop end-to-end release plans, including QA coordination through post-production validation
  • Support and oversee deployment activities, including issue monitoring and coordination of resolutions
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across IT and delivery teams
  • Monitor and help ensure uptime and operational readiness of environments
  • Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report risks while operating within established risk tolerance and governance standards
  • Enforce adherence to release management processes, standards, and best practices
Required Experience and Skills
  • Experience managing test environments and configuration management processes
  • Experience working closely with QA, Production Support, and Development teams
  • Experience supporting both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools
  • Experience with environment and release management, including support of large-scale transformations (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
