Description
We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Cleveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will excel in managing timelines, coordinating tasks, and delivering results while adapting quickly to new environments. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in ambiguity and can operate independently after a brief ramp-up period.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the successful implementation of software projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope.
Coordinate tasks and activities across multiple teams, maintaining clear communication and alignment with stakeholders.
Manage project timelines, identify risks, and implement solutions to address potential challenges.
Facilitate Agile Scrum processes to promote iterative development and continuous improvement.
Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to track project progress and maintain transparency across teams.
Collaborate with leadership to define project objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Provide regular updates and reports on project status to stakeholders and management.
Step into ambiguous situations and develop clear action plans to move projects forward.
Build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
Ensure all projects adhere to best practices and standards in project management.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management or related roles.
Proven ability to manage software implementation projects effectively.
Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project management.
Proficiency in tools like Atlassian Jira for project tracking and task management.
PMP Certification is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and present updates clearly.
Ability to work independently and make decisions confidently in ambiguous situations.
Familiarity with Workday is a plus, though not required.
