IDR is seeking a
CAPPS Functional Consultant to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. You will provide highly advanced consultative services supporting the CAPPS Program, with a focus on functional leadership for the CAPPS HR/Payroll module. This role partners closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll processing, configuration, and end-to-end operational support.
Position Overview for the CAPPS Functional Consultant:- Perform senior-level consultative and functional assistance work supporting the CAPPS Program.
- Provide day-to-day functional support for the PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll module, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Support the full payroll cycle from pay calendar setup through confirmation, auditing, and post-confirmation validation.
- Maintain and enhance payroll configuration, reporting, and integration-related functionality.
- Partner with HR and Time & Labor teams to ensure end-to-end process accuracy across statewide ERP operations.
Requirements for the CAPPS Functional Consultant:- Extensive knowledge of federal labor laws.
- Extensive knowledge and experience performing system configuration changes.
- Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc. to support functional responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance.
- Extensive experience supporting the Payroll module in PeopleSoft HCM version 9.2.
