Job#: 3027465 Job Description: Role OverviewThis contingent role supports complex Software Engineering initiatives by designing, developing, and delivering data-driven applications and services. You will analyze multi-layered engineering challenges, contribute to large-scale planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and compliance requirements. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer who is comfortable both designing solutions and rolling up their sleeves to write high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
- Build data processing components and integrations using SQL and Oracle databases.
- Apply foundational machine learning concepts to support analytics or automation use cases.
- Participate in solution design discussions, code reviews, and technical problem-solving.
- Collaborate with engineering partners to ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot moderately complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Deliver high-quality code with strong attention to detail and maintainability.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with Python.
- Experience working with Oracle and SQL for data querying, modeling, and integration.
- 1-2 years of exposure to machine learning concepts or Python-based ML libraries.
- Ability to design solutions and independently implement code end-to-end.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate multiple technical factors.
- Experience collaborating within engineering teams and working within established policies and procedures.
