Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional in Traffic Signal Systems and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to lead and manage complex transportation technology operations. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of hands-on experience in traffic signal infrastructure and ITS deployments, combined with strong leadership capabilities in overseeing technical teams. This role requires deep technical expertise in traffic signal controllers, field devices, and communication systems, along with proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and overall operational performance. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring efficient, reliable, and innovative ITS operations that enhance traffic management and roadway safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage day-to-day operations of traffic signal systems and ITS infrastructure, ensuring high system availability and performance.
2. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary technical teams, providing guidance, performance oversight, and professional development.
3. Oversee the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of traffic signal controllers and related systems.
4. Manage and maintain ITS field devices including CCTV cameras, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), detection systems, and communication networks.
5. Ensure effective integration and operation of Fiber optic, wireless communication, and networking technologies within ITS frameworks.
6. Plan, monitor, and control project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet organizational objectives.
7. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve traffic flow, system efficiency, and incident response.
8. Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
9. Analyse system performance data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
10. Ensure adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in all ITS operations.

Required Qualifications

1. 10+ years of experience in Traffic Signal Systems and/or Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS).
2. 5+ years of leadership or management overseeing technical teams in the ITS operations
3. Strong working knowledge of Traffic Signal Systems, Controllers
4. Hands-on experience with ITS devices including CCTV, Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), Detection Systems, Communications, Fiber optics, Wireless Technologies, and Networking.
5. Strong experience in managing budgets, schedules, and overall operational performance
