AI Product Owner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Lisle, IL that is seeking an AI Product Owner. This is a unique hybrid role combining Product Owner + Technical Lead + AI/Data Consultant + hands-on Builder. The AI Product Owner will work directly with business users to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and help build AI-powered solutions that improve workflows and decision-making. This person will be a translator between the business and technology who can also help build the solution.

Duties:
* Work directly with users to understand pain points and business needs
* Translate business problems into technical solutions
* Help design, build, test, and improve solutions
* Partner with engineering, UX, and data teams
* Drive initiatives from idea, prototype, production
* Operate comfortably in ambiguous environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset
* Comfortable working in situations where the path is not clearly defined
* Takes initiative and can figure things out independently
* Enjoys solving complex business problems
* Can communicate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams
* Understands workflows, data, integrations, and technology solutions
* Can identify opportunities, prioritize solutions, define requirements, and measure impact
* Experience delivering AI, analytics, or data-driven solutions
* Understand how AI/data solutions are applied in real-world environments
* Palantir experience is ideal
* Similar experience with data platforms, AI platforms, analytics tools, or digital products is acceptable

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
