Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with strong PeopleSoft HCM Workforce Administration (WFA) experience to lead a high-impact enterprise initiative. This role requires end-to-end project ownership, strong stakeholder management, and deep expertise in Workforce Administration, Compensation, and Payroll-impacting processes.

This is a pure Project Manager role (no hybrid responsibilities) and requires demonstrated success leading large-scale PeopleSoft HCM implementations or enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead PeopleSoft HCM Workforce Administration (WFA) and compensation-related initiatives
• Manage the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, testing, deployment, stabilization, and closure
• Develop and manage:
  • Project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans
• Drive:
  • Governance, steering committee meetings, and executive reporting
• Manage:
  • Risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, and escalations
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across:
  • HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Technical, Integration, and Vendors
• Oversee:
  • Requirements gathering, design reviews, testing cycles, and deployment readiness
• Perform impact analysis on payroll and downstream integrations
• Ensure successful delivery and stakeholder satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience as a Project Manager (clear PM ownership required)
• 5+ years managing PeopleSoft HCM projects
• Strong expertise in:
  • Workforce Administration (WFA)
  • Compensation / Mass Compensation
  • Payroll-impacting processes
• Proven experience delivering:
  • End-to-end project lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong skills in:
  • Stakeholder communication
  • Governance and executive reporting
  • Risk and issue management
• Experience managing:
  • Budgets, schedules, vendors, and large teams

🚫 Candidates without direct PeopleSoft Workforce Administration experience will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 experience
• Knowledge of:
  • Job Data, Position Management, effective-dated transactions
• Experience in:
  • Higher Education / Public Sector / Healthcare environments
• Experience supporting:
  • Payroll integrations and compensation initiatives
• PMP, CSM, or similar certification
