Description: Our client is currently seeking an IT Scrum Master (Governance, Risk & Compliance)

Job Opportunity-Scrum Master

Location- Portsmouth, NH

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure engagement and delivery effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and People Leaders to maintain a healthy backlog and support planning.
  • Shield teams from external interference to maximize productivity.
  • Anticipate and address impediments to delivery and manage interdependencies across teams.
  • Coach teams on growth mindset, agile maturity, and alignment with organizational strategy.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and coach squads to adopt best practices.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to directors, managers, product owners, and team members.
  • Use data and observation to identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices.
  • Promote Liberty values and continuous learning across all interactions.


Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • Expert-level experience with Jira (required).
  • Strong background in Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban; ability to manage 2-3 teams.
  • Experience fostering agile maturity and navigating organizational transformation.
  • Cybersecurity experience preferred, particularly in Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Solid knowledge of SAFe practices and Agile project management concepts.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or related discipline; 8-10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Agile certifications preferred.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a cross-functional environment.
