Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with 10+ years of proven success in IT Staffing sales, client mining, and requirement acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of clients across the U.S. and a track record of generating new business, driving revenue growth, and maintaining long-term customer relationships.
The BDM will be responsible for identifying new clients, mining existing accounts, building strong relationships with hiring managers, and securing direct IT requirements for staffing and consulting services.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Account Mining
Identify, pursue, and secure new clients for IT staffing and consulting services.
Mine existing accounts to uncover new opportunities and expand business footprint.
Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and vendor managers.
Conduct regular client meetings, capability presentations, and requirement discussions.
Requirement Gathering & Fulfillment
Capture IT staffing requirements from clients in real time.
Work closely with recruiting teams to ensure timely submission and high-quality candidate delivery.
Understand client needs, project environments, and hiring trends for accurate requirement qualification.
Track requirement pipelines, prioritize hot opportunities, and ensure fulfillment.
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Drive end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, prospecting, negotiations, and closures.
Maintain detailed documentation of leads, opportunities, and progress in CRM systems.
Represent the company in networking events, industry meetings, and conferences.
Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client portfolios.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through follow-ups and proactive support.
Build long-term, trust-based relationships to secure recurring business.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales in IT Staffing, Consulting, or Professional Services.
Strong experience in client mining, requirement gathering, and relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to generate requirements and convert leads into revenue.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Strong network of clients, vendor managers, and direct client contacts is highly preferred.
Experience working with state, federal, and enterprise clients is a plus.
