Citadel Security USA is currently seeking a Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial construction project in Aurora, Colorado. This assignment focuses on protecting an active job site by monitoring access points, conducting patrols, documenting activity, and helping maintain a secure working environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and capable of working independently while maintaining consistent communication and accurate reporting throughout the shift.
Position Information - Location: Aurora, CO 80019
- Employment Status: Full-Time
- Officer Type: Unarmed
- Schedule: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities Site Security Operations - Patrol the construction property on foot to monitor activity and site conditions
- Inspect gates, fencing, storage areas, equipment locations, and work zones
- Help prevent unauthorized access to restricted sections of the property
- Identify and report suspicious behavior, trespassing, theft concerns, or property damage
- Maintain a professional and visible security presence throughout the shift
Access Monitoring - Observe personnel and vehicle traffic entering and exiting the site
- Verify access authorization in accordance with site procedures
- Monitor designated entry points and report security concerns promptly
- Assist with enforcing site rules and safety requirements
Incident Response - Respond appropriately to security-related concerns and unusual situations
- Communicate incidents to supervisors and designated contacts as required
- Follow established post orders and emergency procedures
- Remain professional and composed while handling unexpected events
Documentation & Reporting - Complete required patrol reports and daily activity logs
- Submit mandatory security status updates every 30 minutes
- Prepare clear and accurate incident documentation
- Record observations, security concerns, and actions taken during the shift
Qualifications Required Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass applicable pre-employment screening requirements
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and remain focused throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and professional work habits
Preferred Qualifications - Previous security, patrol, construction site, or property monitoring experience
- Experience preparing reports and maintaining activity documentation
- Ability to recognize safety concerns and communicate them effectively
- Strong observation and situational awareness skills
