ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive. Requirements Gathering & Agile Delivery (40%) · Collaborate with business partners, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. · Translate high-level business needs into detailed, executable user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams. · Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. · Manage and maintain the product backlog in Jira, ensuring work notes are maintained and blockers are removed to guarantee successful deployments. System Analysis & Solution Design (30%) · Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities to automate functions and improve efficiency using the Salesforce platform. · Partner with Salesforce Developers and Architects to ensure the proposed technical solutions meet the business requirements and adhere to Salesforce best practices. · Assist in evaluating the impact of new Salesforce releases and features on existing customizations and workflows. Quality Assurance & Testing (15%) · Define, develop, and implement test conditions and plans. · Perform functional testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders. · Troubleshoot and research systemic issues or defects, performing deep-dive root cause analysis and partnering with the development team on remediation. Training & Documentation (15%) · Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, system workflows, and training materials in Confluence. · Serve as a "train the trainer" resource, providing ongoing support and education to ensure business users can navigate new Salesforce features effectively. · Deliver digestible technical presentations and release notes to non-technical leadership. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties) · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required. · Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or closely related role. · Salesforce Experience: 2+ years of direct experience working on the Salesforce platform (understanding of standard objects, custom objects, flows, validation rules, and security controls). · Certifications: Salesforce Certified Business Analyst and/or Salesforce Certified Administrator strongly preferred. · Methodology: Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum software development frameworks. · Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Office Suite (Visio/Lucidchart for process mapping is a plus).
