Position Overview
As Chief Operating Officer (COO), you will serve as a strategic partner to the Founder & CEO, responsible for translating our vision into operational excellence. You will oversee company operations, drive performance, and ensure the effective execution of business strategies. This role demands a results-driven leader with a proven track record in scaling operations, building high-performing teams, and managing rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
Own company-wide P&L, ensuring profitability targets are met while supporting sustainable growth.
Oversee revenue generation strategies, working closely with sales and business development to maximize top-line performance.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
Operational Leadership
Oversee all day-to-day company operations, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
Manage and optimize workflows across engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customer delivery.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute short- and long-term business plans.
Identify and mitigate operational risks, while pursuing opportunities for growth and innovation.
Monitor KPIs and company performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to meet and exceed targets.
Team & Culture
Build, lead, and mentor a diverse, high-performing team.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Ensure effective internal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
Partnerships & External Relations
Oversee vendor and partner relationships to ensure optimal quality, cost, and performance.
Represent the company with key stakeholders, partners, and clients as needed.
Qualifications
Proven success as a COO, General Manager, or similar senior operational leadership role in a high-growth or startup environment.
Experience in manufacturing, construction technology, robotics, or related industries preferred.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and optimizing resources.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a focus on results.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive salary based on experience. $200K-$225K
Performance-based bonus potential.
Eligibility to participate in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (pending on Board approval).
