We are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to partner directly with the Founder & CEO in leading the next phase of company growth.

Position Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for leading all day-to-day business operations, driving operational excellence, improving profitability, and executing the company''s strategic vision. This executive will oversee Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Delivery while ensuring scalable growth and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on executive with a proven track record of scaling manufacturing organizations, managing company-wide P&L, leading cross-functional teams, and building high-performing organizations within industrial technology environments.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Leadership
- Partner with the Founder & CEO to develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies.
- Translate strategic vision into operational execution and measurable business outcomes.
- Build and lead a high-performing executive leadership team.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Financial Leadership
- Own company-wide Profit & Loss (P&L) and drive sustainable profitability.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and operational reporting.
- Monitor key financial and operational metrics, implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development to support revenue growth initiatives.
Operations & Manufacturing
- Lead all manufacturing, engineering, production, supply chain, quality, and customer delivery operations.
- Develop scalable operational processes, SOPs, and best practices.
- Improve productivity, quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
- Optimize capacity planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
Engineering & Product Delivery
- Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to support product development and commercialization.
- Ensure smooth transition from engineering design to manufacturing and customer delivery.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
Strategic Growth
- Develop organizational KPIs and executive dashboards to measure business performance.
- Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Support expansion initiatives, new product introductions (NPI), and organizational scaling.
Vendor & Customer Management
- Develop strategic relationships with suppliers, contract manufacturers, and key partners.
- Negotiate vendor agreements to optimize quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Represent the company with customers, partners, and executive stakeholders as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience with at least 5+ years as a Chief Operating Officer (COO), General Manager, VP of Operations, or equivalent executive role.
- Proven experience managing company-wide operations, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Delivery.
- Demonstrated success owning full P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Strong background in operational excellence, business transformation, and organizational scaling.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Excellent executive communication, leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, founder-led, high-growth environment.
