Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP FICO Consultant with strong BlackLine experience to support a tactical SAP Finance staff augmentation initiative.
This role requires a hands-on SAP Finance professional with 15+ years of experience supporting ECC and S/4HANA Finance environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, hypercare support, testing coordination, and financial data reconciliation.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced production support environments and can independently drive issue resolution during critical month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance (FICO) configuration and troubleshooting
- Resolve high-priority production support tickets and system bottlenecks
- Support month-end and year-end close activities
- Work closely with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to stabilize operations
- Create and maintain Functional Design Documents (FDDs), process maps, and user documentation
- Lead data migration, validation, and reconciliation activities using LTMC and/or LSMW
- Ensure financial data integrity between legacy and SAP systems
- Coordinate and execute Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT activities
- Develop detailed test scripts and manage defect resolution
- Support hypercare and post-go-live stabilization efforts
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver tactical SAP Finance solutions
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of SAP FICO experience
- Strong SAP ECC and S/4HANA Finance experience
- Hands-on configuration experience across core Finance modules
- Proven BlackLine integration and reconciliation experience
- Strong production support and troubleshooting background
- Experience supporting critical financial close cycles
- Experience with LTMC and/or LSMW data migration tools
- Strong testing, documentation, and defect management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or Finance background preferred
- Experience in large enterprise SAP environments
- Prior hyper care or stabilization project experience
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience
