Summary

Job title: Scrum Master
Duration: 3+ months (but likely to extend)
Location: Remote US or Remote LATAM

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

Define and maintain solution architecture aligned with business requirements, technical standards, security considerations, and operational needs.
Lead technical discovery, requirements clarification, and solution-option analysis.
Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical decisions, integration views, and related documentation.
Identify system dependencies, risks, constraints, and opportunities for reuse or simplification.
Collaborate with product owners, subject-matter experts, engineers, vendors, and customer stakeholders to ensure solution alignment.
Provide technical guidance through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
Support estimation, sequencing, roadmap development, and prioritization of technical work.

Scrum Master and Delivery Support

Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Help the team maintain a healthy, prioritized, and implementation-ready backlog.
Track commitments, dependencies, impediments, risks, and decisions across the engagement.
Promote effective Agile practices, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate across workstreams and help resolve issues that affect delivery progress.
Partner with the Product Owner and delivery leadership to align sprint goals with engagement milestones and business outcomes.
Support release planning, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and delivery governance as needed.

Engagement-Wide Support

Provide flexible, part-time support across the full engagement lifecycle, adjusting focus as priorities evolve.
Serve as a bridge between business, technical, and delivery stakeholders.
Surface emerging concerns early and recommend pragmatic actions to keep work moving.
Contribute to knowledge transfer, operational readiness, and transition activities.
Model collaborative, outcome-oriented behavior across customer and internal teams.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical delivery, Agile delivery, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience serving as a Solutions Architect, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, or comparable role.
Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies.
Experience designing or guiding integrated technology solutions across multiple teams or systems.
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical options, decisions, and delivery plans.
Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience identifying and managing technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impediments.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a part-time, embedded advisory role.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting complex enterprise, cloud, infrastructure, data, or application modernization initiatives.
Experience working in hybrid Agile environments or across multiple delivery workstreams.
Certified Scrum Master, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or comparable Agile certification.
TOGAF, cloud architecture, security, or other relevant technical certification.
Experience with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
