The BAP serves as an intermediary between the Commerce and the Florida PALM Project, aiming to devise technical solutions that cater to user needs.
· This role requires expertise in the program area(s) it supports, as well as a thorough understanding of Florida PALM Project’s systems and capabilities.
· The BAP’s responsibilities include evaluating Commerce’s operational processes to understand their strengths and weaknesses to identify opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance system functions.
· The BAP plays a key role in redesigning business processes and documenting these changes to accommodate as needed for new technology.
· This involves translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing changes to such specifications.
· The BAP possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance Commerce’s competitive edge.
