Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals, specifically working on non-permitted technology and end-of-life remediation. The developer will code solutions, create unit tests, and ensure successful integration into the overall application while working with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
- Code solutions, unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces
- Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements
- Develop conceptual diagrams, process flows and technical architecture diagrams
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
- Lead, mentor and coordinate on-site & offshore on project development
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience with Java, .NET, Oracle, Python and SQL Server development skills
- SDLC experience using waterfall & agile methodologies
- Strong coding experience
- Production support experience in a complex environment
- Ability to triage problems and determine root cause
- Work with minimal supervision
- Strong Communication skills (Verbal and Written) and the ability to direct global team members
- Experience with full project life cycle, requirement analysis, design, development, test and support
Desired skills: Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
