Genesis10 is currently seeking a Core Java Developer - Remote position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This position is for a contractor to work on Non-Permitted Technology and End of Life remediation. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals, ensuring solutions meet functional, non-functional, and compliance standards. This includes coding, unit testing, and ensuring successful integration into the overall application system.
Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
- Code solutions, unit tests, and ensure the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces
- Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements
- Develop conceptual diagrams, process flows and technical architecture diagrams
- Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
- Lead, mentor and coordinate on-site & offshore on project development
- Work with minimal supervision
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience with Java, .NET, Oracle, Python and SQL Server development skills
- SDLC experience using waterfall & agile methodologies
- Strong coding experience
- Production support experience in a complex environment
- Ability to triage problems and determine root cause
- Strong Communication skills (Verbal and Written) and the ability to direct global team members
- Experience with full project life cycle, requirement analysis, design, development, test and support
Desired skills: - .Net CORE
- Angular, microservices
- Working knowledge in application Design
- Able to identify risks and mitigation
- Comfortable working in a matrix environment
- Prior experience of working with globally distributed teams
Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
