Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for leading the planning, deployment, and migration of cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure) and other hybrid infrastructure. A successful Technical Project Manager takes the time to understand project drivers, establishes realistic timelines with commitment from key team members, and actively facilitates technical discussions. The role involves managing projects that include server-based technology, NPT remediation, and coordinating infrastructure technology delivery.
Responsibilities: - Lead the planning, coordinating, and delivery of defined project deliverables engaging multiple teams
- Manage multiple infrastructure projects involving server-based and Public Cloud technology (AWS, Azure)
- Facilitate sync points across multiple organizations to enable delivery
- Identify, manage, and communicate issues and risks, understanding their impact on project deliverables and due dates
- Establish meetings at the appropriate frequency to review scope of work progress and remaining tasks
- Maintain a detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with dependencies, ownership, and committed task durations
- Build collaborative relationships with TI and application resources assigned to your project
- Ensure execution and delivery meets the client's expectations in terms of functionality, quality, timeline, and cost
- Communicate work objectives, coordinate delivery, manage risks, ensure compliance to standards, and provide end-to-end visibility into the health of deliverables
Requirements: - 10 years of experience managing projects that involve server-based technology
- 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure project management
- 2+ years of experience with Public Cloud, i.e., AWS, Azure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
- Ability to lead complex projects and/or programs
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible to assist team members as needed
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) for all levels in the organization
- Excellent organizational skills
Desired skills: - Midrange server and/or network infrastructure project delivery experience
- Experience with Jira in management of projects through Deliverables/Epics/Stories and cross-dependencies management
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodology environments
Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31 per hour
