Role: Windows Operations Engineer
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Location: Jersey City, NJ (hybrid in office 3 days/2 remote)

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Operations Engineer with a strong focus on automation and pipeline-driven delivery. This role will play a critical part in building, deploying, and operating automation capabilities across Windows Servers while supporting our "cloud-first" transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the stability and security of Windows platform. Powershell scripting, SCCM Support.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a key responder for major production incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation
- Support and maintain a Windows Server environment
- Participate in and support the organization's cloud-first initiative
- Experienced with SCCM for monitoring and deployment initiatives
Technical Environment- Mix of Windows and Linux environment (this role will focus on Windows)
- AWS represents ~25% of the environment, with steady growth planned
- Enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
Required Skills & Experience- Strong expertise in Windows at Engineer level
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline
- Proficiency in Powershell Scripting
- Experience with SCCM for automating deployment
- Python would be a plus as well
