Location: Newark, New Jersey (Onsite)
Role Overview
This position requires a dedicated Nexthink Technical Lead/SME to be onsite with a client in Newark, NJ. The role involves owning and delivering the Nexthink platform to improve the Digital Employee Experience. The initial engagement is for an 18-month, long-term contract, focused on platform implementation, configuration, and stakeholder enablement to drive measurable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day Nexthink Infinity and/or V6 platform administration and roadmap, including tenant configuration, governance, and operational health.
- Configure and manage Nexthink licensing and modules (e.g., Infinity core, Adopt, Amplify, AppEx, AI Drive) aligned to project scope.
- Plan and oversee the deployment of Nexthink Collectors across endpoints and VDI, ensuring telemetry coverage and data quality.
- Implement and maintain Nexthink integrations with platforms such as ServiceNow, Azure AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft Teams/Zoom connectors.
- Build and maintain Nexthink dashboards, investigations, and reporting using NQL queries to extract and model telemetry data.
- Develop and maintain Nexthink Remote Actions (PowerShell/bash) and Workflows to support diagnostics and remediation.
- Manage the platform lifecycle, including product updates, collector update strategy, and configuring Nexthink Library content packages.
- Produce executive-level documentation, including implementation decisions, runbooks, and results reporting, while communicating progress to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Nexthink Infinity and/or V6 platform administration and delivery.
- Proficiency with NQL for investigations, dashboards, and reporting.
- Experience deploying and managing Nexthink Collectors for endpoints and VDI.
- Experience with Nexthink integrations, particularly with ServiceNow and identity/collaboration connectors.
- Coding proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, JSON, and Javascript for building and maintaining Nexthink Remote Actions.
- Ability to analyze telemetry, summarize findings, and translate insights into prioritized recommendations.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills within enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with large-scale enterprise EUC/VDI environments and service desk enablement.
