This role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work is offered (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)
Shift: MON-FRI 8:00 am- 5:00 pm
The Sr. Specialist, IT Client Support will provide high-quality IT support for a Fortune 50 organization. This role delivers world-class end-user support across devices, software, A/V, and infrastructure, and requires strong technical expertise in networking, telecommunications, and systems support.
Resolve complex technical issues requiring in-depth knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
Analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
Manage escalation of advanced issues to appropriate teams when necessary
Support end-users with IT security policies and provide clear, compliant solutions
Collaborate with IT and corporate teams to design and implement A/V solutions that are both effective and user-friendly
Lead hardware refresh initiatives, including scheduling, asset management, and lifecycle processes
Communicate clearly with end-users, providing timely updates and managing expectations
Mentor junior team members and promote a collaborative team environment
Job Specifics:
Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods (up to 50% of the time)
Occasional overnight travel required
May require visits to industrial/manufacturing environments, including exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and materials; appropriate PPE will be required
Required Experience (Level-Based): This position may be filled at multiple levels depending on experience:
Senior IT Specialist: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) with 5 8 years of relevant experience
Lead IT Specialist: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) with 8+ years of relevant experience
Principal IT Specialist: Bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) with 10+ years of relevant experience
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
8+ years of experience supporting end-users in an enterprise environment
Strong, well-rounded knowledge across IT disciplines, including the ability to operate independently when needed
Experience supporting A/V technologies and conference room solutions
Strong knowledge of mobile technologies (iOS and Android)
Understanding of network infrastructure and server relationships
Experience with telephony systems, including VoIP
Familiarity with security technologies (e.g., biometric, badge access systems)
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
Willingness and ability to travel, including obtaining a valid passport
DESIRES SKILLS:
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications
Experience with cybersecurity tools and practices
Microsoft desktop support experience
